Boulevard Crossing Park

From a Vacant Space to A Southside Treasure

Five acres of greenspace form the first phase of Boulevard Crossing Park in the Chosewood Park neighborhood, just south of Grant Park and Zoo Atlanta. Once a vacant industrial lot, this greenspace was created with the help of kudzu-eating goats that cleared the site (through a partnership with Trees Atlanta!).

In January 2020, Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. – with support from partners – completed the final land acquisition to bring the total to 25 acres as originally envisioned for the park.

Play

A regulation-size soccer field with goals provides a perfect setting for rousing matches, while two large multi-use activity fields provide ample space for a game of catch, a picnic, or a moment of meditation.

Gather

Pack a picnic or plan a birthday party. The covered pavilion at Boulevard Crossing provides shade and seating for your next get-together.

Splash

COMING SOON! The second phase of development will include the BeltLine’s fifth splash pad and also feature such great additions as a dog park and community garden.

Amenities

Solar lamps help conserve energy, while organic landscaping techniques reduce maintenance costs and protect against erosion.
