Southwest Connector Trail

Set Out for New Westside Adventures

The Southwest Connector Spur Trail is part of a larger trail network that connects neighborhoods in southwest Atlanta to the Westside Trail. When completed, this network will be 4.5 miles. It is part of the Atlanta BeltLine’s 33-mile trail network.

Winding through a 54-acres of nature, this trail links Beecher Hills Park with Lionel Hampton Park. It also ties into the Lionel Hampton Trail, a north-south connector running through the preserve.

Photo op!

The nature preserve has beautiful scenery year-round, with astonishing fall colors. An ideal backdrop for family photos and gorgeous landscapes.

The trail weaves through historic neighborhoods and passes alongside Westview Cemetery—the largest cemetery in the Southeast, and one of the oldest.

Beautiful scenery and winding trails provide the perfect setting for a relaxing bike ride away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
