Update on Sept. 13, 2023: Event registration for in-person attendance is at capacity. We encourage attendees to attend virtually.

Update on Sept. 14: due to a scheduling conflict, Phillana Williams will be representing the City of Atlanta on the panel instead of Mayor Dickens.

The Atlanta BeltLine’s third Quarterly Briefing of 2023 will feature a moderated conversation celebrating Atlanta as a major influencer, from hip hop to equitable infrastructure. Gathering an all-star, in-person panel, this hybrid meeting will explore Atlanta’s vibrant hip-hop culture and its deep connection to the city’s identity as part of the Hip Hop 50th Anniversary Celebration.

Connecting 45+ neighborhoods, the BeltLine is part of the story of how Atlanta’s cultural influences have transcended over time, and how music has played an integral role in Atlanta’s ascension. This event is in support of Mayor Dickens’ “Year of the Youth.”

Following the panel conversation, the remainder of the meeting will be dedicated to Atlanta BeltLine project updates and a question-and-answer session.

Local vendors will be on site and light refreshments will be available.
