Ormewood Park
Ormewood Park has bragging rights as the most historically intact of all Atlanta BeltLine neighborhoods, meaning that many of the homes and structures that qualify as historic have been left standing over the years. It is within walking distance of some of Atlanta’s favorite establishments and attractions, such as the East Atlanta Village, Zoo Atlanta and the Glenwood Park mixed-use development.
Trails
Southside Trail
Currently, the majority of the Southside Trail is an open unpaved Trail and provides connectivity between the paved Eastside and Westside Trails on the southernmost part of the Atlanta BeltLine loop. A 0.8 mile paved section is now open to the public and extends from the terminus of the Westside Trail at University Avenue and continues to just west of the I-75/85 overpass.
