Capitol View Manor
This small community in Southwest Atlanta was named for its excellent view of the Georgia State Capitol building. Capitol View Manor was established in the 1920s, and most of the homes in the neighborhood were built over the subsequent two decades. The neighborhood is adjacent to the Pittsburgh Yards development on the Interim Southside Trail of the Atlanta BeltLine.
Trails
Southside Trail
Currently, the majority of the Southside Trail is an open unpaved Trail and provides connectivity between the paved Eastside and Westside Trails on the southernmost part of the Atlanta BeltLine loop. A 0.8 mile paved section is now open to the public and extends from the terminus of the Westside Trail at University Avenue and continues to just west of the I-75/85 overpass.

Capitol View Manor sits between Metropolitan Parkway and the I-75/85 Connector, extending south from the BeltLine’s Southside Unpaved Trail to Emma Millican Park and the Atlanta Technical College campus.
