Chosewood Park
When it was developed in the early 20thcentury, Chosewood Park was primarily workforce housing for the adjacent Federal Penitentiary. The neighborhood features craftsman-style bungalows and a six-acre greenspace in the heart of the neighborhood. Homes on the north side of the neighborhood are perched atop a gently sloping hill that provides unobstructed views of the downtown Atlanta skyline.

Boulevard Crossing Park
Five acres of greenspace form the first phase of Boulevard Crossing Park in the Chosewood Park neighborhood, just south of Grant Park and Zoo Atlanta.
D.H. Stanton Park
Located in the Peoplestown neighborhood, D.H. Stanton Park is a shining example of the power of a collaborative community effort and sits on the north side of the unpaved portion of the Southside Trail.
Trails
Southside Trail
Currently, the majority of the Southside Trail is an open unpaved Trail and provides connectivity between the paved Eastside and Westside Trails on the southernmost part of the Atlanta BeltLine loop. A 0.8 mile paved section is now open to the public and extends from the terminus of the Westside Trail at University Avenue and continues to just west of the I-75/85 overpass.
